If you are a PhoneNet user, or if you are making or receiving calls via PhoneNet you should be aware of the following privacy considerations:
- All calls in and out of PhoneNet are logged to a database. This is primarily for statistics and anomaly detection however can be used in response to an abuse report or incident.
- PhoneNet supports TLS and SRTP encryption for Asterisk, Aura, and IP Office users, and we encourage the use of this protocol where possible.
- PhoneNet does not monitor or record any calls and operators only have the ability to determine if an extension is in use or not.
- Calls may be recorded by a PhoneNet end-user. PhoneNet does not have any involvement or responsibility where calls are recorded by an end-user.
