CUCM is in beta and we're still working on the end state. Some things may change rapidly

This document is a quick reference guide for users on the PhoneNet CUCM platform. It describes common numbers, dialing plans, and other features on the system.

We're currently running CUCM 14. Connectivity is through:

  • SIP trunks to the SBC for Asterisk.

  • SIP trunks to Avaya Aura.
  • SIP trunks to the Cisco CUBE for external connectivity.

CUCM is part of the PhoneNet Coordinated Dialing Plan (CDP) and uses our standard dialing procedures.

Information on how to connect your device to CUCM and access the user portal is provided on account creation. If you no longer have this information you will need to contact the Service Desk.

Voicemail

CUCM uses Avaya Messaging for Voicemail. To access your mailbox you can press the voicemail button on your phone or dial 791-3000. You may also access your mailbox via one of our PSTN access numbers:

  • Australia: +61 2 8609 3000

  • United States: +1 (240) 259-3000

When you first login the system will guide you through the initial mailbox setup.
