This document is a quick reference guide for users on the PhoneNet Avaya IP Office Platform. It describes common numbers, dialing plans, and other features on the system.

PhoneNet is a hobby telephone network and does not guarantee service in any way. Emergency calls are not supported and users should maintain an alternative service for emergency calls.

We are currently running IP Office Select R12.1.

Connectivity is through:

  • SIP trunks to the core PhoneNet gateway (Asterisk).

  • SIP trunks to PSTN carriers.

  • SM trunks to Avaya Aura.
  • ISDN (30 channels) to the PhoneNet ISDN backbone for connectivity to other switches such as the NEC NEAX, Ericsson BP250, Alcatel OXO, etc.

The IP Office is part of the PhoneNet Coordinated Dialing Plan (CDP) and uses our standard dialing procedures.

Information on how to connect your device to IP Office and access the user portal is provided on account creation. If you no longer have this information you will need to contact technical support on 791-1100 through the Service Desk.
